Here´s a breakdown of most steps I took to do this “WEST OF OZ 9 : PINK BUNNY MECH BORDER PATROL” pic.
As usual I don´t do any sketches or plan a thing and I just paint until I find something that I like. If I planned anything I would never complete a pic because my imagination would already be in the next one and would be bored to death just cleaning and rendering an image that I knew exactly how it would turn out in the end and I don´t like that at all.
I like to go with the flow and simply paint it raw and direct from start to finish not knowing what I will be doing in the next minute with the image. Also I like to see how a painting changes during my creative process and this one is no exception.
So here it goes the making of for this one too.
This was the first pic I did with my brand new HUION GT221 PRO wich I won a couple of weeks on the Huion illustration contest, and I´m still adjusting my painting style to cope with the new pen pressure levels of this new Huion pen. Also, the software used here is once again Clip Studio Paint as I gave up on the expensive and heavy Photoshop for good.
